The subject of his talk was a “stroll down Montevallo’s Highland Street”. The houses along the four block street are seen in a PowerPoint presentation and their interesting and colorful owners are introduced and discussed.

Carey Heatherly and Clark Hultquist co-authored the "Images of America" book on Montevallo. They are both on the faculty of the University of Montevallo and their presentation dealt with the online digital archives offered by the University's Carmichael Library. They placed special emphasis on the local newspaper achives that have been established in recent years. Click on the icon to view their program.
